Best Books for Babies Diaper Distribution-CLP Hill District

Families with babies ages birth-18 months can attend and receive a two-week supply of diapers (sizes newborn – 4 available), as well as a Best Books for Babies book bundle at this event. While supplies last. No registration required.

When: Saturday, April 29 | 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Where: CLP-Hill District, 2177 Centre Avenue, Pittsburgh PA 15219

Drive-Thru Distribution

Enter distribution line at intersection of Wylie Avenue and Kirkpatrick Street and stay in line to reach the distribution site in the lower parking lot of Central Baptist Church – located across Kirkpatrick Street from CLP – Hill District.

Walk-Up Distribution

Enter walk-up distribution line through CLP – Hill District’s main entrance on Centre Avenue and stay in line to reach the distribution site in the August Wilson room. Please reserve the Walk-Up Distribution for those without cars.

Diapers and Baby Book Distribution Event Set for Families

Families with babies ages birth through 18 months are invited to receive diapers, as well as a Best Books for Babies 2022 book bundle, during a free event taking place on Saturday, 7/23. 

About

The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh in partnership with the Western Pennsylvania Diaper Bank will be holding the diaper and book distribution in the Central Baptist Church’s lower parking lot, located next to CLP – Hill District.

Families may choose either a drive-thru option or walk-up option to receive a two-week supply of diapers (sizes 0-3) and their baby book bundle.

Event Details:

Drive-Thru Distribution: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Families may drive up to receive a book bundle and a two week supply of diapers (sizes 0-3) while supplies last. Each family may select up to two sizes of diapers, but organizers ask that each car represent only one family

Walk-Up Distribution: 1 p.m. – 2 p.m

Families may walk up to receive a book bundle and a two week supply of diapers (sizes 0-3) while supplies last. Each family may select up to two sizes of diapers.

Diaper Bank at Hub & Family Center

The Homewood Early Learning Hub & Family Center is now a Diaper Bank location in Allegheny County. Diapers in sizes one to six and wipes are available to families in Homewood and surrounding communities. Each family can receive up to two packs of diapers every three months.

 

Requesting Diapers and Wipes

Due to COVID-19, families must schedule a time to pick up their diapers and wipes. To schedule a pickup time, please complete the request form. Once you have completed the form, a member of our staff will contact you to arrange a pickup. Please note that opened diapers and wipes may not be returned or exchanged.
